Al Magsar Farm

Al Magsar Farm in Al Batinah Governorate, Wilayat Musannah, is dedicated to banana cultivation, playing a key role in Oman’s agricultural diversification efforts.

Tissue Culture Center

Oman Agriculture Development Company operates a state-of-the-art Tissue Culture Laboratory in Jimah, developed in partnership with the University of Arizona, USA. The facility supports Oman’s food security by producing strategic crops through advanced propagation techniques. Current production includes 160,000 date palm offshoots of various varieties and 150,000 banana plantlets, along with other crops such as potato tubers, strawberries, thyme, and pineapple. In addition, the center is developing gene banks to safeguard high-quality genetic material for date palms, citrus fruits, figs, grapes, and other important crops.

Raysut Compost Facility

The Raysut Compost Facility is part of Oman Agriculture Development’s efforts to support sustainability and agricultural innovation. It converts agricultural waste and organic materials, primarily animal manure, into high-quality organic compost. This process helps reduce landfill use, limit greenhouse gas emissions, and promote a circular economy. With an annual production capacity of approximately 77,600 cubic meters, the facility supplies compost to our farms as well as the open market.

Nizwa Industrial Complex

Nizwa Industrial Complex is Oman’s largest and most advanced facility for processing fruits and vegetables, spanning 35,000 m². It features cutting-edge infrastructure, including 30,000 pallet positions in cold storage with Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) technology for efficient vertical storage. The complex houses a world-class processing section that grades dates into Premium, Retail, and Bulk categories based on quality, size, and texture. It also serves as the production hub for Tamrah, Nizwa, and Zad brand products. Currently, the facility is being expanded to include advanced sorting and processing systems for a wider range of fruits, reinforcing its position as a leader in Oman’s agro-industrial sector and its commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Tan’am Farm

Located in Al Dhahirah Governorate, Tan’am Farm spans 770 acres and is home to 15,000 date palms, including Fard, Majdool, Khalas and Fahel varieties. The farm prioritizes sustainable farming and follows advanced agricultural practices to ensure high-quality date production.

Al Wagan Farm

Located in Al Buraimi Governorate, Ain Al Heelwa Farm spans 5,455 acres and cultivates 15,000 date palms, featuring Fard, Majdool, Khalas and Fahel varieties. The farm is strategically positioned to support local food production.

Ain Al Heelwa Farm

Located in Al Buraimi Governorate, Ain Al Heelwa Farm spans 5,455 acres and cultivates 15,000 date palms, featuring Fard, Majdool, Khalas and Fahel varieties. The farm is strategically positioned to support local food production.

Al Safa Farm

Al Safa Farm, covering 3,930 acres in Al Dhahirah Governorate, cultivates 35,000 date palms, including Fard, Bunarinja and Fahel varieties. Known for its scale, it supports the region’s agricultural development while maintaining environmental responsibility.

Organic Farm

Located in Al Dhahirah Governorate, the Organic Farm spans 1,145 acres and is home to 50,000 organic date palms. It produces Organic Fard, Khalas, Fahel and Majdool varieties, playing a key role in sustainable and organic agriculture. The farm holds multiple certifications, including USDA Organic, Ecocert Organic Standard (for export to the UK and EU) and GLOBAL G.A.P., ensuring the highest quality and sustainability standards.

Al Najid Farm

As the largest of Oman Agriculture Development Company’s farms, Al Najid spans 7,860 acres in Dhofar Governorate, transforming the heart of the Omani desert into a thriving agricultural oasis. The farm is home to 100,000 date palms of Fard, Khalas and Fahel varieties, alongside a diverse range of melon varieties and other crops. With a strong commitment to sustainability, Al Najid plays a vital role in enhancing food security and demonstrating the potential of desert agriculture.

Rahab Farm

Rahab Farm, located in the Governorate of Dhofar, spans 1,358 acres and specializes in cultivating premium date palms, including Fardh and Khalas varieties. In addition, the farm is home to 30,000 Omani lime trees, marking Oman Agriculture Development Company’s first carbon sequestration project in collaboration with MAFWR and PDO, aligned with Oman’s 2050 net zero goals. The farm is committed to sustainability and holds key agricultural certifications, ensuring high standards in quality and operations.

Janaen Salalah

Located in Dhofar Governorate, Janaen Salalah is an agricultural-tourism project developed by Oman Agricultural Development Company (OAD) in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries and the Tourism Agricultural Development Company (Janaen), part of Omran Group.
The project’s first phase will plant 16,370 coconut trees, with future expansion to 50,000 trees, alongside 120,000 papaya trees planted in stages.
Oman Agricultural Development Company is responsible for executing the initial phase, scheduled for completion by the end of 2025.
Janaen Salalah supports Oman’s vision for sustainable agriculture and eco-tourism, creating opportunities for local production and visitor experiences.

Samail Farm

Situated in Ad Dakhiliyah Governorate, Samail Farm spans 346 acres with 7,000 date palms, including Fard, Bunarinja, Khalas and Fahel. Dedicated to high-quality date production and resource efficiency, it also serves as a research hub, supporting Samail Lab in advancing agricultural innovation and sustainable farming.

Ibra Farm

Ibra Farm, located in Ash Sharqiyah North Governorate, covers 595 acres and grows 8,000 date palms, including Bunarinja, Khalas, Fard, Majdool and Fahel varieties. The farm integrates modern agricultural methods to enhance efficiency and quality.

Al Kamil & Al Wafi Farm

Situated in Ash Sharqiyah South Governorate, Al Kamil & Al Wafi Farm spans 1,950 acres and cultivates 35,000 date palm trees, including Bunarinja, Majdool, Fardh and Fahel varieties. The farm also produces high-quality red onions and potatoes, reinforcing Oman’s agricultural diversification efforts while adhering to sustainable farming practices.

Rima Jojoba Project

Located in Al Wusta Governorate, Wilayat Haima, the Reema Project is a strategic initiative within PDO’s concession area, developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Agricultural Wealth, Fisheries and Water Resources and Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), with Oman Agriculture Development Company managing operations.
Home to 150,000 jojoba trees, the project plays a key role in expanding green cover, promoting sustainable agriculture and supporting carbon sequestration efforts in Oman.
