Driven by our commitment to a circular economy, our composting facility in Raysut (Salalah), is dedicated to producing high-quality organic compost. With an annual production rate of 25,000 tons of high-quality organic compost, this initiative aligns with our sustainability goals by reducing landfill waste and promoting environmental stewardship. This project delivers substantial social, economic, and environmental benefits. By redirecting large volumes of plant waste from landfills into valuable compost, not only enhances its landfill management but also mitigates the risk of fires associated with organic waste accumulation. The procurement of animal waste is managed by local SMEs, supporting livelihoods in the Salalah region and contributing to the local economy.
